How to Manifest Your Desires With The New Moon.

How to Manifest Your Desires With The New Moon.

New beginnings are possible. Usually, In the midst of your own chaotic life the last thing you want to hear is to start right now, or trick yourself into the mindset that a new day means a new beginning. Especially, when your day is moved by the stress from the night before, or the pressure of what lies ahead in the future. Sometimes, we need to mentally prepare ourselves for a new beginning rather then switch gear in a snap of a finger. Thankfully, there are the moon cycles to help seed, cultivate, and manifest our desires. Yay!

Phases10-13x-2w

Joining the flow of nature, working with the natural order of things makes life easier for us and grants us with greater return. Farmers knew this, for they harvest seeds during the new moon finding out crops tend to be more richer and more lively then. “Gardening by The Moon” it’s called. It’s an age old folklore. The same process applies to us when we want to manifest our truest intentions bringing up more of our wants into fruition; Write down your desire (plant), Feel your desire as if you have it now (water), and let universe bring it to you (watch it grow). Like the Chia commercialsch-ch-chia!. Quotation-Steve-Maraboli-life-success-motivation-water-goals-inspirational-action-order-Meetville-Quotes-7196

To use the moon cycle for guidance and for you benefit here’s what you do:

1. Find the next new moon.

2. Light candles, play music, put yourself in a good mood and setting.

3. Burn incense or sage to clear the rooms energy.

4.With a pen and paper right down your desires in present tense, “I now invite into my life experience…” “I now have..” “I am…” Do not limit yourself. Don’t feel ashamed for how big or how small of your wants. The size doesn’t matter to the universe only your alignment with your goals with proper thoughts and feelings matter.

Loa5. Visualize your goals dreams and desire. Take a moment to meditate on these goals. You should be smiling and feeling good with imagining your goals. Have as much fun as you have. Remember the happier the faster.

6. Make a vision board, to further deepen your visualizations.

7. Burn the list, hide the list, detach yourself from the list. Constant dwelling on when your goals going to come further pushes them away delaying the fruition. Trust that the universe will provide for you.

8. Thank the universe for manifesting your desires and feel the gratitude, then be!

Think Wisely

“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” – Buddah

Circles and More Circles and More

Circles and More Circles and More

If you were a geometric shape (e.g. square, circle, isosceles triangle, etc.), what would you be and why?

So I am going to do part of the The Finicky Cynic “June ‘Jour’ Challenge” I am rather late in it, but this prompt stood out to me the most. It took me no time to answer either. What geometric shape would I be…hmm, easily, a circle?

So why a circle? A circle is too me the basic, original geometric shape that has the deepest meaning. It’s the basic design leading into the Flower of life symbol which is said to be the design that created the universe. As every math problem, every line, every thought stems from the creation of the Flower of Life. It is only right I pick something that represents the deepest part of me.

The Flower Of Life

 The Flower Of Life

The flower of life is part of the sacred Geometry our ancestors some how strangely knew of. The great ancient civilizations in our human history all shared this one symbol. It can be found in every major religion some are remixed into portions of the symbol, but overall, it reaches every cornerstone of the world. It can seen etched in stone and clay tablets in flow with the story of their civilization. Somehow, the civilization knew all about this symbol with no connections with each other. How is that even possible?

The makings of the symbol consist of evenly drawn circles overlapping each other to form flower like symbols. It’s actually very easy to make with a protractor. you just draw a circle and then at the anywhere on the line of the circle you place the point of the protractor and draw the same pattern over and over. It’s quite the learning experience as every inch, every placement counts.

This symbol is everywhere in nature. As for me, while going through my spiritual journey I was enamored at the mass of information I was receiving. Learning I am part of everything and everything is part of me is astounding. A Circle is never ending as I am never ending. We are never ending. We are always is!

How fun is that…( better then being told I’m a sinful, dirty beast, born into a evil world and wickedness).

Meditation App: Stop, Breathe & Think

Stop Breathe & Think–but not too much thinking. I found an interesting app that could be beneficial to you if you want to take time to meditate, track your feelings, time and guide your meditations. It’s very convenient and best of all it’s free. However, you have the option to buy extra types of meditation if you choose. All proceeds goes towards a non-profit organization called Tools For Peace (TFP).

TFP (Tools For Peace) pursuit is to galvanize people to develop compassion and kindness to all ages. They advocate their mission by providing a program with methods to practice to develop stronger compassion, and connection to self and others. The continue with in-school programs for kids, Stop Breathe & Think app (“500k and counting”), as well as retreats.

The App is so simple and easy and informative. You begin by checking in your mood. How are you mentally, physically, and emotionally. Emotions play a big part in fast manifestation so it’s important to be honest with yourself foremost.  The app then runs the calculations providing a list of guided meditations like “Gratitude,” “Joy,” and “Mindful Walk.”

If you don’t want to listen to the lady speak, you can easily time yourself up to 60 minutes long! You can even choose 1 minute if you need a moment right before you about to slap a bitch up!

Stop Breathe & Think

Your progress is tracked with awards granted for rate of completion. I haven’t done much of the guided meditation, I usually just jump to the timer.

I encourage all to Stop Breathe & download this app into your phone available for both Google play and App Store. I think it’s quite useful. I must say this app is internet based, so you cannot use it if you don’t have wifi or internet. Which is a little bummer for us New Yorkers who commute on subways. If I’m not reading or sleeping, I’m meditating on the train to avoid the pole dancers

The Power of Appreciation

The Power of Appreciation

There’s some profound power in appreciating things in your life. It’s humbling and adds great character, but there’s a true essence appreciation has that goes beyond a platonic Thank You. A Thank You that is empty are the times when its said just to be polite and inside you don’t feel  thankful. Yeah, those types of thanks isn’t where the power lies. It’s the feeling that’s important and it’s the feeling that will bring more in which you want in your life.

To be better creators in our experience we have to appreciate the things we have now in our lives. Many of us, including me, want to create and change our lives to the way we want it to be and it is possible! But first, we have appreciate to attract. For example, if you do something small for someone and you feel the appreciation from them, what do you want to do? Give more, of course! But if a person is asking and not appreciating, being a brat and so on, you’re more than likely going to withdraw. In the withdrawal you are actually without realizing giving the other person what they are dwelling upon…the lack of.

You don’t want to the brat. The Universe won’t translate that to your favor. Appreciation  puts you into a positive mind frame by directing pleasing thoughts into your mind. In the book Ask And It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks,  they call it Rampage of Appreciation. It is a process to do to remain in a good feeling mood to stay in alignment to the things you ask for.

Example of this process my go:

When Grocery Shopping:  I like how this story is fully stocked. It makes searching for what I want very easily. I like how everything is organized.  It’s great that the lines are empty. I appreciate the workers not heckling down my neck to buy something. I’m excited to know the item I want is on sale.

While driving: I trust my car. I love my car. I love the navigation system in my car. These roads are smooth sailing me to my destination and it feels great. I saw beautiful scenery in this car. I saw beautiful scenery now. I appreciate the gas being so cheap.

While home: This bed is so soft and warm. I love this protection from the cold/heat I have. My cover feels like clouds. My body feels so relaxed after a long day. Relaxation is luxury and I am feeling that right now.

This is a great way to practice being optimistic.  This process also trains you to be aware of things so they will not be taking for granted.  In and everything and everything can and should be appreciated. Even in the worst of situations there’s always  a positive way to look at things.

You’re going to need this mindset when you are deliberately creating things you want into your life.

Try it. It works
Feel good feels good!
Namaste!

One Ear: The Surgery (part III)

Several Days Later…
I
was set for my first surgery. By this time my infectious disease was cleared to a safe level. So people didn’t have to walk around me with gas masks as prevention. My legs weakened, but I wasn’t aware how fast your legs actually gets week. I was already in a strict bed rest for about four days straight. I was moved for the third time to a room with a roommate. I didn’t like it. I liked the spacious privacy ICU provided. Luckily, I had the bed to the window. This window was my key hope to dream.

I looked at this window and watch the sun walk across the sky with confidence. I saw the overview of the entire Bronx and the Manhattan buildings. I timed when exactly the sun will reach to my window so I can try to gaze and absorbed the light.

I never knew what it was like to not have the freedom to go outside when I wanted to.
I never knew what it was like to not have the freedom to choose what I wear.
I lost the freedom to breathe fresh air. I lost the freedom to watch TV.  I lost freedom to be social, to be me. All I did in my days before judgment day was sit in the one bed and watch TV repeat it’s self 3 times a day. I definitely learned that Cable is rip off.

The day of surgery came. I was boarded downstairs in a waiting room as the countdown began. The process went as follows: The doctors, about four of them were going to open the back of my ear and drill a hole. This process is called a mastoidectomy. From scans they found out a large collections of cells in my inner ear which is suppose to be empty for sound to travel. The inferred that was the reason for my chronic infections as it was from birth.

The put me to sleep. I wake up four hours later. groggy, fatigued, and down right numb. The doctor however gave me bad news. They couldn’t get all the cells from out my ear it was so much. It destroyed all the soft bone in my inner ear and also reached in the balance part in my ear. I started to cry immediately.
In my room I spent Halloween there, with some positive thinking I thought well, why not be Vince Van Gough. I mean, like, he had one ear and looked fashionable. Plus, we both shared the same brace over the face. Around this time a few of my family members came. My mother came almost everyday since I been here and a few friends. I was grateful.

I couldn’t hear though out my ear with the brace, Nor could I walk, my stomach was extremely constipated with the constant 24hr antibiotic I was one. This was the horrid of the whole experience. I did not want to walk around with that damn IV machine. I felt like I was way stronger than moving around that 6 foot  four legged metal garbage. I refuse to identify with that thing. With every given chance I tried to unhook myself from it.

The last wave came.  The surgeon came to me a few days later, which is nearing towards my second week there, she told me how I was going to need a second surgery and I need to consent to it. This surgery was going to be even more intense with a life changing cost. I were to completely loose my hearing in order to permanently put this cause to rest. Also, they were going to remove the balance in my ear since it too was eroded away by the devil. I exclaimed in dismay the tragic news. All that I knew instantly when to shambles. I didn’t know how to cope with this. This was the lost my spirit has been broken.

In the same token I grew awareness to those spirits who has been broken like my brother, homeless people, those in catastrophe. It’s a heavy burden greater then yourself that locks your thoughts in a realm of negativity. There is no such thing as light when your spirit is truly broken.

I consented the surgery. I had no choice. I undergo another 4-5 hour surgery.  The day before and day of I heavily recited a mantra Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung.  Meant for healing and safe recovery. I repeated this like my life depended on it which it did. If not, I was told to have to keep getting this surgery for the rest of my life if they cannot get every single cell out! They were not going to make me a profitable thing.

After the surgery I was extremely drowsy even worse then before. The sedation was said to be much heavy and longer than before. All I saw was my mom again and my aunt sitting with me in the recovery room when I woke up. “Son, they were able to remove every single cell from your ear”

I cried again so strong yet still so weak from the sedation. I could barely speak. Happiness marathon across my cheeks before she could even say “ear”. It was such a heart warming feeling to know that all of this was over.
Completely over.
For good.

I figured thought it was me saying that mantra over and over even while I was being put under sleep. I was just glad to put this thing to rest. It took some time to getting used though not being able to hear from the left side. Isn’t much different then hearing out of both. There are some disadvantages, but none like what I thought when I first got the news. I thought I had to change careers .. No more Tv/radio. no more tv personality.

No hearing Aide either, if you saw what robot they had that will be attach to my head. NO MADAME!
